TRANSFERRING A PROJECT

Project transfer in the cart is a simple and convenient feature that allows you to manage your orders with flexibility. This function enables you to move your projects between compatible products while maintaining consistent formats and layouts. In the instructions below, you’ll find detailed information on how to transfer projects, the conditions that need to be met, and what to do if any issues arise. You'll also learn about the difference between transferring a project and duplicating an order, as well as how to edit a transferred project.

Follow the steps below to efficiently manage your projects in Artibo!

How to copy a project?

  • In the cart, find the order containing the project you wish to transfer. Next to the project, you’ll see the option “COPY PROJECT.”
  • After clicking the button, a list of eligible products in the cart will appear as possible destinations for the transfer. Select the appropriate product from this list. If there are no eligible products in the cart, you will be notified.
  • Wait for the confirmation message that your project has been transferred, and the process will be complete.

Which projects can be copied?

  • Projects created with our free Online Designer can be copied.
  • You can transfer both block designs and covers, including creative and fabric options.
  • Projects can only be transferred between identical products, maintaining the same format proportions and number of layouts or pages—for example, you can transfer a project from a 30x30 cm Photo Album (with 10 layouts) to a 25x25 cm Photo Album (also with 10 layouts), and vice versa.

Why can’t I copy the project?

  • Make sure you have a product in the cart from the same category with the same number of pages or layouts.
  • A project cannot be copied to a product that already has another assigned project. In this case, first delete the previous project, and then proceed with copying the new one.

Can I edit the copied project?

  • Yes, a copied project can be edited and modified.
  • You can also make changes to the product itself, such as adding or removing layouts/pages.

What is the difference between copying a project and duplicating an order?

  • Duplicating an order means duplicating the entire product with all selected options, such as product line, format, cover color, add-ons, and the project.
  • Copying, however, applies only to the project itself.
